I’m a Bullrider Mama. Rodeo has my heart. I fell in love with horses at the ripe old age of 4 yrs old and have rarely lived without one.

I can vaccinate cattle with one hand and eat a sandwich in the other. I’m not scared of animal germs but people germs, those bother me….I love me some hand sanitizer

I have a candle, perfume and Scentsy problem. Like a whole cabinet dedicated to “good smells” in my house.

Oh and Gum, I chew gum like my life depends on it.

I used to desperately want blonde hair but orange is the only color it will turn …so I will forever look like Johnny Cash’s female counterpart.

I play piano when I am stressed. I love to sing harmony. I have multiple instruments in the closet “I’m going to learn when I have time”. Bagpipes are top of the list…I also have asthma so that should be fun.

What’s on Afton’s iTunes you ask? If I’m awake, there is music on. My playlist is a little…errr, “eclectic”, from worship to country to gangster rap…it’s all there.

For real though, ultimately, why do I love photography??? To be able to capture a snapshot in time, one you’ll never get back. The first time you meet your precious baby. Adoption Day. When you give her your last name. The last time you hugged your sweet Grandma this side of heaven. Pictures seem insignificant in the moment, but one day, when we least expect it, we will look back at a photo, smile, possibly shed a tear and be thankful we can hold that memory in our hands. THAT is why I love what I do. Thank you for trusting me with your memories!!!
